The National service scheme takes an aim to promote national consciousness, good sense and social responsibility along with a sense of discipline and dignity of labour among the students. The college has two units. It was formed in ________________.
The students associated with N.S.S. will undertake the projects assigned to them during Sundays and on other holidays with at disturbing normal study or as the direction of the programme officer, N.S.S.

(a) Non-Formal Education.
(b) Better environment.
(c) Afforestation.
(d) Tree Plantation.
(e) Family Welfare.
(f) Child Welfare.
(g) Child Care.
(h) Campaign again dowry.
(i) Awareness through campaign against smoking and drinking.

The above mentioned programmes may be arranged through normal camp or by special camp within the stipulated time period.

One of the members of the teaching staff of the college may be selected and appointment by the Utkal University and CHSE as Programme Officer. Two members one for +2 wing and another for +3 wing may be taken as Programme Officers separately.
